1. Carlos Slim. Definitely the richest engineer in the world with his $71.2 mlrd. Mr. Slim owns theGrupo Carso conglomerate with interests in finance, communication, retailing and technology. This man is a Mexican who has a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
2. Charles Koch. The CEO of Koch Industries is strongly related to the MIT educational system having degrees in General Engineering, M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering and M.Sc. Chemical Engineering.
